Today, October 8, is the date set for the start of the Second Round of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Men’s Caribbean Cup scheduled to be played from October 8-12 in Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti and Guadeloupe - the hosts for Groups 7, 8 and 9, respectively.
In Group 7 teams Antigua & Barbuda and St Lucia will stage the opening game at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Trinidad & Tobago at 6:00pm while at 8:15pm the hosts will face Dominican Republic.
Group 8 kicks off at 5:00pm at the Sylvio Cato Stadium in Haiti when St Kitts & Nevis meets Barbados and at 7:30pm Haiti takes on French Guiana at this same venue. Curacao and Martinique meets at 6:00pm in the first game of Group 9, at the Serge Nabajoth Stadium in Guadeloupe.
At 8:30pm the hosts plays St Vincent & the Grenadines same place. These twelve teams consists of the nine teams that qualified from the First Round and the host team of each group.
The Final Round will take place in Montego Bay, Jamaica, between November 10-17 when the six top teams, along with Cuba and the hosts Jamaica, will be placed in two Groups A and B, from which the third and fourth play-off and the finalists will emerge.
