CFU Club Championship Finals to be held in Haiti

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua (March 17, 2016) – The stage is set for the finals of the 2016 CFU Club Championship, which will be held from April 29 to May 1, at Stade Sylvio Cator in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

A quartet of Caribbean teams – the best coming out of the exciting preliminary round played across four venues in March – will vie for the title. The four teams are: Group 1 W Connection of Trinidad and Tobago; Group 2 Don Bosco of Haiti; Group 3 Central FC of Trinidad and Tobago; and from Group 4 Arnett Gardens of Jamaica.

W Connection will play Arnett Gardens FC in Match 1 on April 29, while Don Bosco will face Central FC in Match 2 on the same day. The losing semifinalists will play Match 3 on May 1, ahead of the final, also on May 1, with the winning semifinalists.

The top three teams will advance to the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.
