Puerto Rico drew with St Vincent and the Grenadines in Men’s Olympic Qualifiers

Puerto Rico drew 2-2 with St Vincent and the Grenadines in Group 4 action of the 2015 Caribbean Zone Men’s Olympic Qualifiers at the Estadio Juan Ramon Loubriel, in Puerto Rico on Thursday, June 25.

The group which originally had four teams in contention for a place in the Final Round was reduced to three after the unavoidable withdrawal of the Suriname team leaving hosts Puerto Rico, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago in contention.

Games will continue in Groups 1, 2 and 3 on Friday June 26 while the next game of Group 4 will be played on June 27.

In Group 1, St Kitts & Nevis faces Barbados at 4:00pm at the Stade Sylvio Cator in Haiti and at 6:30pm Haiti encounters the Cayman Islands at this same venue.

In Group 2 action Aruba meets Cuba at 3:30pm and 6:30 pm Antigua and Barbuda challenges Guyana at the Antigua Recreation Ground in Antigua.
Dominican Republic takes on St Lucia in Group 3 action at the Estadio Felix Sanchez in Dominican Republic at 4:00pm.

This zonal qualifying tournament has an age limit of Under 23 for men born on or after January 1, 1993.
Two teams from these Men’s Olympic Qualifying games will advance to compete in the Confederation of North Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Men’s Olympic Tournament set to be hosted by the United States in 2016.
