Port of Spain, Trinidad - The Caribbean Football Unions Olympic Finals kicked off today as Trinidad and Tobago defeated Jamaica 2 -1, While Puerto Rico grabbed a 1 - 0 win over Guyana.
The ladies of Trinidad and Tobago defeated Jamaica 2 - 1 after extra time . Jamaica would score in the 45th minute through Jodi Ann Mcgregor giving the Reggae Girls the lead into halftime. Trinidad and Tobago would pull one back in the 59th minute with Derelle Mascall leveling the match. Tasha St. Louis would score a late winner for the host in the 91st minute giving Trinidad and Tobago the 2 -1 victory.
Puerto Rico would defeat Guyana 1 - 0 in the early kick off. Karina Soccarras Villalonga put her side through to the finals with Trinidad and Tobago after scoring in the 119th minute during extra time.
Trinidad and Tobago will face Puerto Rico on November 20th at 7:30pm and Jamaica will face Guyana 5pm at the Ato Boldon Stadium.
