Port of Spain, Trinidad - The finals of the Caribbean Football Union's Womens Olympic qualifiers came to an end as Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico and Guyana all advance to join CONCACAF's elite.
Guyana first booked their place into the next round with a 2 - 1 victory over favorites Jamaica. Tashana Vincent would open the scoring in the 44th minute giving Jamaica the early lead at halftime. Guyana would minutes into the second half in the 48th minute with a strike from Mariam El-Masri. The winning goal would come in the 73rd minute from Brittany Persaud who would give the Lady Jags a 2 -1 victory over Jamaica.
Host Trinidad and Tobago would defeat Puerto Rico by 1 - 0 margin to claim top spot in the Caribbean Football Union's Olympic qualifying stage. The winning goal was scored in the 24th minute by Karyn Forbes defeating Puerto Rico.
