Waterhouse lost 1-0 to DC United in CCL game

Caribbean Football Union (CFU) outfit Waterhouse FC, lost 1-0 to DC United FC from the United States of America in Group 4 of the CONCACAF Champions League competition, last evening in the USA.

Scoring for DC United was Eddie Johnson in the 5th minute of play. Waterhouse who represents Jamaica will have their next outing when they play Tauro from Panama in a return leg on Thursday, August 28, at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica at 7:00pm.

Guyana’s Alpha United which also represents the CFU will also encounter Club Deportivo Olimpia, from host country Honduras on this same date as well. Waterhouse defeated Tauro FC 2-1 on August 7.

Alpha United and Bayamon from Puerto Rico have been unlucky so far to gain a point in their outings.

Alpha lost 1-0 to Club Deportivo Olimpia from Honduras and 4-1 to Portland Timbers from the USA, while Bayamon was defeated 5-0 by Comunicaciones from Antigua and 6-1 from team Club America of Mexico.
