St Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago leads Group 2 with Six Points Each

St Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago share six points as action continues in Group 2 of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) 2014 Men’s Under 17 Qualifiers which is currently in progress in St Lucia at the Beausejour Cricket Ground, in St Lucia. In games played yesterday St Lucia beat Grenada 4-0 and Trinidad and Tobago stopped Curacao 2-0.

The creative Nyrone Winter scored in the 15th ending the first half 1-0. However, in the 50th minute Winter netted his second goal of the game.

This was followed by a goal from Cassius Joseph in the 67th minute and Phillip Albertine in the 87th to end the game 4-0.

Kierron Mason and Shobal Celestine scored in the 47th and 84th minute respectively for Trinidad and Tobago. Games are scheduled to continue on Sunday, August 24 when the winner will be separated from the Group and qualify for the final rounds set for September.

Grenada plays Curacao 6:00pm and St Lucia meets Trinidad and Tobago at 8:00pm
