CFU Under 15 Quarter Finals Results

Philipsburg, Sint Maarten - Today's CFU Inaugural Under 15 Championship quarter final matches saw Dominican Republic, Cayman Islands, St. Lucia and Curacao advance to the semi-finals.


The Dominican Republic and St. Vincent would kick off the quarter finals in the afternoon session. Pavel Bergaglio opened scoring for the D.R in the 3rd minute. Freddy Feliz would then add a second in the 6th minute of play. The D.R would then make it 3 - 0 in the 26th minute with a goal from Jose Manuel Matos then Juan Gabriel Angeles made it 4 - 0 in the 34th minute. Jose Mauel Matos would then add a 5th goal in the 63rd minute. St. Vincent & The Grenadines would score a consolation goal in the 41st.

St. Lucia defeated Grenada 4 - 0 in the  morning session. Riquelme Sylvester opened scoring in the 6th minute. Linus Clovis would then double the lead in the 13th minute of play. Bryant Polius made it 3 - 0 before the half in the 23rd. Clovis's second would make it 4 - 0 in the 35th minute.

St. Lucia 4 - 0 Grenada

Scorers: Riquelme Sylvester 6th(LCA), Linus Clovis 13th, 35th (LCA), Bryant Polius 23rd (LCA).



Cayman Islands came from behind to defeat Antigua and Barbuda 3 -1. Antigua would open the scoring on the stroke of halftime when Shalon Knight scored on the 35th minute of play. In the second half Cayman Islands would equalize in the 47th minute. Cayman would then double their lead in the 51st through Cody Ebanks and Francisco Murillo in the 56th minute to make it 3 - 1.

The feature match of the day saw Curacao take on co-host Anguilla at the 7pm kick off. Curacao opened scoring in the  1st minute through Luchenthly Vrutaal. Vrutaal would tally 5 goals on the night when he added goals in the 8th, 11th, 37th and 70th minute. Angerick Dorothea would also score in the 67th minute while team leading scorer Nathan Bernadina added to his tournament tally in the 62nd as the match ended 7 - 0.


Curacao 7 - 0 Anguilla
