Puerto Rico continues to score big in CFU Women's U 20 Qualifiers

Puerto Rico continues to create a stir in the 2015 Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Women’s Under-20 Qualifiers this time beating Anguilla 8-0 on Sunday, June 21, at the Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Puerto Rico.

Marjorie Irizarry opened the scoring for Puerto Rico in the 9th minute and added two more in the 35th and 76th respectively to complete her hat-trick. The other goals were singles scored by Adriana Ortiz in the 19th, Angela Vazquez in the 52nd, Karla Colon in the 79th, Jessica Torres 87th and Gabriele Pomales in the 90+2 minutes

Curacao also claimed victory over Antigua & Barbuda defeating the later 2-0 after a 0-0 halftime score line. The goal scorers were Lindsay Hart in the 55th minute and Diante Scheepers in the 60th.

Games will continue on Tuesday, June 23 at this same venue when Curacao meets Anguilla at 4:00pm and Puerto Rico hosts Antigua & Barbuda at 6:30pm.
