The region’s female footballers will take center stage when the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) U-20 Finals kick off in Haiti on October 14.
The tournament will feature seven Caribbean countries competing in two groups. Group A will see host nation Haiti take on Bermuda and Puerto Rico. While in Group B defending U-20 champions Jamaica will face competition from St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Curacao and last edition’s runner-up Trinidad & Tobago.
Tournament play will begin on October 14 with Group A, as Bermuda take on Puerto Rico at 6 pm at Stade Sylvio Cator.
Group B will begin play on October 15, with Jamaica vs. St. Vincent and Grenadines at 4 pm followed by Trinidad & Tobago vs. Curacao at 6:30 pm.
The top three teams emerging from the competition will join other teams from the CONCACAF region to compete in the 2015 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship in Honduras.
