Harris, also president of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) and a Concacaf vice-president, received the Gold Crown of Merit for his contribution as a sports administrator in football locally and regionally.

The CFU President’s inclusion on the 2020 Independence Honors List pays tribute to his 43 years as a sports administrator, with a career of service to sports beginning in 1977.
