ARIMA, Trinidad (July 28, 2026) — Ravello Ziegler scored twice as SV Robinhood of Suriname cruised to a commanding 4-0 win over Slingerz FC of Guyana on Tuesday at the Larry Gomes Stadium, securing a spot in the semifinals of the 2026 CFU Club Shield.

Renske Adipi opened the scoring late in the first half, and Ziegler struck twice after the interval. Gilberto Cronie played a key role in the victory, setting up two goals. The emphatic win sends the Surinamese club into the final four, where they will face Jamaica's Mt. Pleasant FA for a place in the championship match.

Robinhood controlled possession from the opening whistle and dictated the tempo. However, Slingerz FC nearly took a surprise lead in the 35th minute when they failed to capitalize on a promising opportunity.

The missed chance proved costly just two minutes later. Adipi collected the ball outside the penalty area and fired a powerful shot that beat goalkeeper Jamaine Cumberbatch, giving Robinhood a 1-0 lead in the 37th minute.

Robinhood carried the lead into halftime and returned after the break in complete control, patiently maintaining possession while limiting Slingerz's attacking opportunities.
