The Caribbean Football Union’s #girlsplayfootball campaign is a regional initiative designed to celebrate and strengthen the involvement of women and girls in football.

Launched on International Women’s Day, the campaign highlights the importance of participation, retention, and leadership in the women’s game. It aligns with the CFU Strategic Plan 2.0, focusing on increasing grassroots engagement and removing the barriers that prevent girls from thriving in the sport.

Through storytelling, partnerships, and collaboration with its 31 Member Associations, the CFU aims to showcase the positive impact football can have on confidence, teamwork, and leadership development.

The campaign will feature inspiring voices, spotlight opportunities in and beyond the game, and encourage ongoing action to ensure that football remains a space where every girl can grow, compete, and lead.
