Harris leads new-look BFA executive

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (September 7, 2020) – Randolph Harris, in his third consecutive term as president of the Barbados Football Association, is leading an executive with mostly new faces following elections on Sunday, September 6, 2020.
Harris, who is also the president of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) and a Concacaf vice president, was unopposed in his candidacy. All of the other positions were contested.
Senior Vice-President Captain Al Walcott, was returned to office, also for his third term, while Junior Vice President Omari Eastmond is new to the post. Gregory Thompson, hitherto an ordinary member, was elected Senior Assistant Secretary. Junior Assistant Secretary Simeon Alsopp is also fresh to leadership of the BFA.
The new administration includes fellow newcomers Christian Renwick, Treasurer, and Lisa Bannister, Assistant Treasurer. The Executive Members are Nicole McKenzie, who was the only returnee amongst Carlos Jackman, Kenville Layne, Dale Rudder and O’Brien Smith.
Speaking after elections, President Harris said he looks forward to working with the new Executive Council to continue improving football in Barbados.
