Teams pick up big wins on the road

Bridgetown, Barbados (April 09, 2022) –Away teams ruled the day in the ConcacafW Qualifiers with massive wins over the host teams. The day was characterized by heavy scoring, with 67 goals registered.
Hosts Turks and Caicos Islands was soundly defeated 0-13 by Trinidad and Tobago at the TCIFA National Academy. This win propelled Trinidad and Tobago to the top of Group F going into the final day of the group phase of the ConcacafW Qualfiers. Trinidad and Tobago were led by a hat trick from Chelcy Ralph, while Karyn Forbes, May Matouk and Raenah Campbell each registered a pair of goals.

In Group E, Haiti thrashed hosts British Virgin Islands 21–0 at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground to register the largest win margin for the Qualifiers thus far to secure the top spot in the group. Roselord Borgella started the scoring for Haiti and finished with four goals, while Batcheba Louis registered five goals and Roseline Eloissant secured a hattrick.
